At an auction sale on Franklin street a few days since a negro fellow, not specially likely, brought $1,500. A girl 19 years old, (ugly) $1,300; one 7 years old, $725; a man, (diseased) 18 years old, $450. These prices will serve to indicate both the appreciation and demand for this species of property.
